Himalayas MonkThe Distributed Monastery

A Social Network. Many mirrors. Nobody can switch it off.

A monastery with no single door — so it can never be locked.

Everything below is a small, independent project — a chat room, an AI tutor, a Bitcoin explainer, a social app — built and kept alive for seekers of truth. Each one is copied onto several free hosts at once, so if one goes down, you just try the next link.

New to this? Here's what the odd words mean

You don't need any of this to click a link — everything just opens in your browser like any normal website. This is only here if you're curious.

Mirror
The exact same project, hosted in a second (or third) place, as a backup.
Netlify / Pages.dev
Free hosting services — like two different neighbourhoods a copy of the site lives in.
GitHub Pages
A third free host, run by the same code library where the project's files live.
IPFS
A way of hosting a page across many computers at once instead of one company's server — closer to a photocopy than a rented shop.
CID
A long code that's like a fingerprint for an IPFS page — paste it into any IPFS gateway to open that exact version.
Nostr
An open chat/social protocol with no single owner — the address shown works like an email for it.
